Antidepressants and pregnancy

Help please, I have to take trycyclic Antidepressants and I really want to have a baby, I need to know the safest antidepressant and anxiety medication to use?

With my 2nd pregnancy, I was put on antidepressants - they were called Lexapro!  Worked wonders, and was prescribed by my ob/gyn.

You really need to consult your dr or even your pharmacist to get accurate information on what meds are safe for you and your baby ahead of time.  Some anxiety meds (i.e. Klonopin and Xanax) are category 'D' -  not recommended for pregnant women.  Good luck!
