Anyone else's heart beat faster/nharder during pregnancy?

Ok this drives me nuts...my heart feels like it's pounding during this pregnancy.  It also did it when I was pregnant with my daughter but it didn't start until the 3rd trimester.  This time it started early.  The rate is anywhere from 96-114.  I went and saw a cardiologist on Friday who did an EKG and it was normal and they sent me home with the heart monitor that you wear for 24 hours.  I bring that back to them tomorrow whenI get a heart ultrasound.  They said it's most likely pregnancy related.
It is soooo annoying and actually a little scary!

Yup. Totally normal. I had them, too. The doctor called them "PVCs" (can't remember what it stands for.) But they aren't dangerous - just really annoying.

Oh yes!  Actually I have ALWAYS gotten this very early in pregnancy!  ESPECIALLY at night, when all is quiet & still.....then my heart would be doing sprints & hops, & beating like a fast drum!
I think it's totally normal, you have so much more blood pumping right now......don't worry :)

sounds like your doing everything to make sure it is ok.. but i hear other people say the same thing, and i was the same way... early in pregnancy and until about recently it would pound and race.. and then i'd get some crazy palpitations too.. apparently it can be worse in the earlier part of pregnancy when your blood volume is increasing so rapidly.. totally normal though! : )   congrats on the pregnancy! : )

Yes, my heart rate increased in both my pregnancis, mostly in my 3rd trimester as well.  It's mainly due to the extra blood flow, and added weight from the baby.  You're using more energy to get around, especially going up and down stairs.  It's very common, but it looks like you got it covered with a heart monitor just in case!  Good luck!
