A lot of times after you ovulate a corpus letuem cyst remains on the ovary which produced the egg and over time disappears on its own. It can cause discomfort. This can happen even on non-medicated cycles.
Good Luck!
I've got pains right now where my ovaries are and i am apparently ovulating today, it could also be that i've been throwing my dogs toy a lot lately down the parks and i don't get a lot of excercise so i am using more muscle than normal lol
Keep me posted lets hope we both get our BFP's this month though i strongly doubt i'll get mine as we have a minor problem we're trying to get sorted. Best of luck!!
No it's not a medicated cycle, I'm not on any medications to help me get pregnant.
I'm not having so much pain this morning. So maybe it was something else other than ovary pain. Thanks for the responses.
Ita has a very good point about pain near ovary w/ a medicated cycle. On one of my pregnancies, I experienced this type of pain a little after my ovulation too. I would think it's fairly common but if it really gets painful, contact your doctor.
Were you on a medicated cycle? Because if you were it may be your ovary just "spazzing" out a bit! IK w/me, normally it doesn't hurt, but I did Gonal-F my last 2 cycles, & yes, my ovary (only have one) was achy-crampy for about 4-5 days post O. So I thought I had a cyst, but nope so I'm thinking it was just "sore" after being so stretched out w/3 mature follies.
