BFP in shock

I will turn 44 tomorrow, today I got a BFP. I am in complete shock. Melissa turned 1 year exactly a month ago. I called to schedule an appointment and begin the meds given my age and heath history of recurrent miscarriages and MTHFR I have a long road ahead of me. I am hopeful and pray that it all works out but a little part of me just can't get excited. Wish me luck.

Hi Ladies,

We had our appointment this morning with the RE. US showed a stong heartbeat and I am measuring 7.4 weeks prengnat CRL is 13.5mm. I know this is only the beginning but seeing that heartbeat takes some of the stress away. I am still getting my shot of progesterone every morning and all of the other meds. Next appointment will be nest Tuesday 11/8/2011.

Hi Ladies,
Thank you!
I went to the RE yesterday for bw beta is 30,167 and progesterone 17, they like the progesterone to be at 25 so I am on the shots. I am also taking baby aspirin and rx folic acid. I go tomorrow morning for us and hopefully see a heart beat. Praying for a good outcome.

Congrats on your Pregnancy. WOO HOO.
I just wanted to add that I also have 2 mutations of MTHFR c677t & Also PAI-1  I had gone to a Perintolgist who advised me STRONGLY not to take lovenox for this situation.  I stopped it at 10 weeks because I had been on it already.  I am about to deliver my twins on friday 10/28.  Good Luck to you!!

Congratulations!  You might want to ask your doc about progrestersone.  It's protocol here for older women to take suppositories for the first 12 weeks.
