Nine years ago when i was 22 i had a tubal liagation. I had just had my second child and i didnt ecxpect to want anymore children.. I never had any type of trouble during my pregnancies,everything was normal.Now at 31yr old and  completely stable, my husband and I want another baby. Is this possible? What are my options, if any?

I don't know of any women over 40 in this forum that had success with tubal reversal.  but  i did  meet a lady in my dr. office that was 42 and she had a newborn. But if i were you I would check with my dr. and see what option would be best.  I had my tubal reversal 2 mo. after i turned 39 and my dr. told me he wanted me to be pregnant before i turn 40.  this will be  our 5th month ttc. You can either go through a tubal reversal or IVF.  I had my tubes tied 15 years ago also and my dh and I wanted a child together but due to my age (43 at the time), the re recommended IVF.  We were successful the 2nd cycle & we now have a healthy 2 month old baby boy - good luck!

Hi. I am curious, I had my tubes tied 18 years ago. I am 40 years old and plan to have a tubal reversal this year.  Have you heard of and women 40 or older having success at becoming pregnant in this forum? I am so anxious.  Info please!!

I had my tubes tied as well 15 years ago.  New hubby of 8 years has just my two as his stepchildren 17 and 15.  I had my first and only round of IVF 12g july 05 had my tubes reversed just under 7g may 06 .. i have had 4 m/c but only due to lack of progesterone and lack of growth after 6 weeks not because of anything with the surgery.. THERE ARE WAYS TO REVERSE... good luck and start saving ;)

I had my tubes tied 15 yrs. ago after my second child. I remarried and my husband doesn't have any children. I had my tubes reversed in Jan. 08 and we are now ttc.  The doctor gave me a 50% chance because of my age, I'm 39 but your chances would be better because you are under 35. the cost was $6000 and i see you are in Texas.
