Baby Stomach measuring small

Hi, I went for an ultrasound to check my baby's position  to ensure she was head down at 36 weeks ( she is head down), when I saw my OBGYN at the end of the week she said the baby was a good size and everything was normal except her stomach was measuring a little small, she said she isn't too concerned about it but wanted me to have a follow up ultrasound to have it re-checked, I am driving myself crazy with worry, the ultrasound isn't for another week and I also don't see my OBGYN again for a week and at this time I will be 38 weeks pregnant so I don't see the point I will almost be ready to deliver at this point, any advice would help !!!

Hey,

So I had another ultrasound, the baby has grown in all areas including the stomach, they said her stomach is still a bit off but that its nothing to worry about she is just a skinny baby. So I have laid my worry to rest and am now just counting the days until I get to meet my lil baby :)

I am having a boy!... We only planned to have 1 baby so we are very happy.

Yes, this blogg is great, they also were worry about their baby not mesuring right , the baby girl was small and they worry about that during pregnancy...at the end ..perfect child!

Wow I checked out that blog. sounds like they had quite the ordeal, I can just imagine myself in that situation I would be loosing it! I am going to the Doc again tomorrow, its nice getting to go in every week near the end of the pregnancy. Do you know if your having a boy or a girl?

Hi lauren, I know how you feel!..At least you are 26 ..try being 42y/o and first pregnancy this doctors drive you crazy...i found this blog of a preganant woman who went through a lot and she had healthy babies today...

Often the stomach measures small vs the head because the brain is so busy growing! My boy's measurements were always off with a small stomach, I had been told the stomach would grow in the last few weeks and he was born just fine!
