Baby's head is low - can someone please explain

Hi, I was told at my last u/s (on 3/15) that my cervix is closed but my baby's head is low.  The nurse did a cervical.  What does this mean.  Am I going to go into labor soon ?  I don't look like I have dropped as yet.  Can somone please explain this to me ?  Thanks

Well I hope she waits another 2 weeks.  Right now I am 34 weeks and 4 days.  I am so excited , thank you will pack my bags.  That explains why I wanted to arrange the baby pictures on my Ob's wall - LOL

Shouldn't be too much long.  It's means that the baby is making his/her way down into the birth canal, which is a good thing :)

My understanding of it is that you have dropped. Are you feeling pelvic pressure? Is breathing a bit easier? It just means baby is getting into position. It could still be a couple weeks. When are you due?
