Bed rest

35+2 and in bed rest. The baby is sitting on a nerve and I'm in so much back pain. The doctor put me on bed rest with alternating heat and cold. She needs to move. I have so much to do and the hubby can only take off so much work. Any one else have back problems like this?

Ask about stretches. I am on bed rest with the same issues and my Dr gave me some stretches that I do 2 or 3 times a day to help her move into the right position. And they really help with the back pain too. Good luck!

I get up believe me, thankfully I have 2 teenagers to help with cleaning. And I have some wonderful friends to help with cooking. The poor hubby is not the best cook in the world. My doctor vetoed the chiropractor since I'm so high risk. I have some exercises that help relieve the pressure. I will get thru this. Thank you ladies.

Right. But still be careful. With the baby on that nerve u can fall easily. If it gets bad be cautious of ur steps. Be sure to tell ur doctor.

That happened to me...and bed rest actually is the worst thing u can do cause u need to keep moving around....I went to the chiropractor and he reset my joints because they are weak with the weight of the baby and u need to use ice no heat....it will take 2 to 3 days for recovery...No bending...twisting...cleaning...sweeping etc...but keep getting up to move around

Yes, she has decided to turn breech again. So her foot is resting comfortably on my sciatic nerve. This is going to be a fun last month. This is baby #5. I have never had any problems like this with the other ones. My kids are cracking me up with telling her to get off my nerves. She's supposed to get on them when she comes out. I think she's been paying way to much attention to them while in the womb. Lol
