With Noah, mine at 4w1d was 199 so it sounds like you're right on schedule! My re said anything over 100 at 4weeks is considered optimal AND you have a great progesterone number as well (she said she likes to see progesterone number at 20+). I'm so happy for you!!
It's a great #! Just think if it was one day later, it could very well be double what it was. Congrats!!! I am soooo happy for you!
I think that's a great strong beta!!! You're lucky you don't have to use the progesterone supp's....they are so messy. I can't wait until I can stop them. Wow, you were going to go for twins! I give you credit for having that energy! Sofia tires me out and I can't imagine how I'm going to be with a second little one, let alone 3! :-) So happy for you and can't wait to hear more good news on Monday!
Those numbers sound great to me! I am not exactly sure where I was when I had my first beta done this time as I concived right after a m/c, but I think it was probably around 12 or 13 DPO, so pretty close to where you are now. My starting number was only 33, and so far so good, I have even seen a heartbeat. Sounds like you are off to a great start! Lots of ssbd....I am going to bet everything works out just fine. I am so excited for you.
Glad to hear you have some good solid numbers (of course, you never really know anything on those first numbers... you get some real good info on the second set to see if they double). And you just never know... perhaps you'll have twins in there anyway... seeing as this pregnancy was a very big surprise for you, stranger things have happened!
Tricia - I hope its not a moose!! My SIL gave birth to a 10.5 pounder and it was not a pleasant experience for her!! Thanks for the info though - it makes me feel better that you saw the same thing! I will know more on Monday.
I can't remember what my beta numbers were with this pregnancy...but I DO know that they were way lower than with my last. I remember being concerned about it. I was also concerned because they didn't quite double in 2-3 days. However...everything turned out fine! I'm 34 weeks now and baby is a healthy little moose!
Tricia
lol! I know, I know, this BFP just has me all in a bundle. It was so unexpected. I just don't know what to think about it at all. I "was" excited to maybe up the femara dose and try for twins since I know this will be our last time trying but really I am not sure how my small frame would have handled that and it is better and healthier to have a singleton in the grand scheme of things. But on the other hand I just want my sweet little Isabelle. I just thought 2 sibs would be more fun than one if we're going for it anyways, but I'll take whatever I get I guess. Don't listen to me I am confused - you know how it is!! I am sure at some point if this sticks I will be overjoyed but I am still just bewildered to tell you the truth right now. I am going to post the HPT when I get home to remind myself that it is real.
Congrats that is a great beta!! With this pg, my beta was only 93 at 17dpiui, and it doubled after that, so I don't think you have anything to worry about..
I'm not trying to stress you out or anything, but I would have them check your progesterone again just to be safe.. I mean as long as they are taking blood and all, why not??
Look at you girl, yesterday you were stressing over having one more and now you want two more... you are such a woman!!! :)
I think it sounds like a great start!!!!! Your progesterone is good too!!!!! Hopefully by Monday you will have a nice increase!!!!!!
Keep staying positive girly...... all will be well!!!!!
