CD 13, cervical mucus yesterday
First, im at CD13, but I saw lots of cervical mucus yesterday.  My periods are abnormal and they are about 21-24 days.  What's your opinion? Should I have had sex yesterday, or do I have a chance today?  Is my being on top not as successful?  Excuse me for these questions.  Im pretty sure I read about ovulation many, many times, but I seem to get confused and am not as educated on fertility and ovulation as I would like to be.  My abnormal periods don't help either.  Unfortunately, I didn't use an OPK or took my BBT this month.  I skipped this month bc there is just too much going on.  What do you think?

Yes yesterday was probably the best day for you but it does not mean everything is lost! Do try today, you still have a very good chance.

Not sure if being on top or not matters, but try to rest for 20 minutes afterward with your legs up: can't hurt.

I actually get the biggest amt of cervical fluid 2-3 days prior to ovulation.  So maybe you actually ovulate later than you think?  Everyone is different and you do have shorter cycles than me...so you never know!  Have fun trying!!

I buy the ov strips online and they are super inexpensive.  Takes a teeny bit of the guess work out.  :)

Can you give me the website that you order your inexpensive strips from?  Im almost positive that I ovulate the day I see my cervical mucus because my cycle is so short.  Ughh. Im so frustrated and so tired of trying. Im almost to the point of giving up.  Im not even seeing a spike in my temperature anymore and I am getting older.  I just cry each time I see a period and Im tired.  Everytime I spend money at the pharmacy on these things I get upset.  Thanks for the information.  Pray for me.

Yes, check into the strips for sure.  I'm not sure if we can post websites here?  So I'll send you a private message here in a minute.

If you want to invest more $$, you can buy a fertility monitor - I borrowed one from a friend and with my daughter (now 2) I conceived the first month.  With this last pregnancy (ended in a D&C) I think it only took 2 cycles.  But then I gave it back to her and she sold it on ebay!  Rats!!

Best of luck to you and it will happen!!!

I too miscarried this past March.  I was 11 weeks.  It was really difficult.  Thanks for the website.  I never heard of a fertility monitor but will look it up as well.  thanks again.  Good luck to you.

Remember it's not just lots of cervical mucus your looking for, but the really stretchy stuff...I know, ick..lol!

I too get it a few days before actual O, so get busy girl, all is most definately not lost.  The cervical mucus is simply a sign that O is about to take place, it doesn't necessarily mean right away.  Another alternative to fertility monitors are OPK's.  (Ovulation predictor kits).  I used them very sucessfully.  The best brand in my opinion is the ClearBlue Easy. good luck to you!!!

Thank you.  I will begin using OPKs.  looked into fertility monitors, but they are pretty expensive.  Thanks for the information.  I guess I do have some hope.
