Can I get pg at 55?

I'm 55,  not in meno yet. fsh is 13. Should I stop using bc? (condoms) I don't want to get pg at this age, plus I'm overweight & diabetic and have other probs - so can't handle pregnancy with all my problems. Has anyone ever heard of a woman getting naturally pregnant and giving birth in my age bracket?

I believe that I read chances are very low that you could get pregnant without any artificial means, (donor egg).   But, definitely talk to you OB/GYN just to make sure.

I suppose it's possible if you still ovulate - I'm sure everyone knows someone who thought menopause was starting because they didn't get their period only to find out - uh oh - won't be getting my period for the next nine months - if I were you, I would talk to my doctor and ask this question, and I wouldn't stop using birth control until you get an answer from your doc
