Cord around baby neck @ 15weeks

Hello ladies, I went to the Dr. today to ck on my Cerclage that was done last week its good the surgery went well. Now the Dr. did an U/S and the cord is around hes neck he said not to worry it happends all the time because the baby moves around a lot but will it come off hes un rap from it if he moves im just scared the Dr. said he migth move around today and untangle from his neck what do you guys think im 15w and 2days............. You hear about this all the time.  I read somewhere that because everything is floating around in amniotic fluid it isn't going to become knotted and tight or anything.  I am not sure where I read that, but if I think about it it makes sense.  Plus, in my experience, if the Dr. is worried about something they are pretty up front about it.  They don't tend to hide much from you when your pregnant.

Ah  yes, that is pregnancy.  I was so stressed out and worried my entire pregnancy too.  There is never anything wrong with questioning your Dr. if you aren't satisfied with an answer or concerned.  This is your baby and you have a right to want additional info.  Congrats on your pregnancy and enjoy!  It's such a beautiful time.

Thank you im just scared of anything. I guess I will trust my Dr. too when he says things are ok.

My daughter had her cord around her neck from 16 weeks to about 30 weeks we never had any problems at all. Good luck!
