Could I be Pregnant?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 months.  I'm 39 years old and he is 33.  I've been taking progesterone and clomid for the past 7 months - this month was the first month on the max dose of clomid and we had sex on the day I was the most fertile which was Dec 8th.  Today is Dec 25th.  Last Monday Dec 17th I started spotting pinkish brown.  It lasted for 24 hours then stopped.  Then on Weds Dec 19th there was a little pink again just once on the toilet paper then there was nothing else all day.  On Thurs Dec 20th when I woke up that morning there was nothing in my underwear but when I wiped there was some red.  I thought I had started my period but the following 2 days it got lighter and lighter until it was almost non existant on the day I was supposed to start my period which was Saturday Dec 22nd.  Then yesterday Dec 24 my period started really heavy.  My period is like clock work every month.  I don't spot, I ALWAYS have horrible cramps, and it always starts when it's supposed to.  This time there was pink almost a week before my period was due and I've had no cramps.  I've heard many stories of women not knowing they were preg for months because they started their period on time.  I took a preg test last Mon, Tues, Weds, and Sat.  I also took one yesterday.  All were negative.  Could I still be pregnant?  I don't understand why my cycle is so unusual this month.

We can't really tell you if you are pregnant. If you've had heavy periods my guess would be no, you're not pregnant and all three bleeding and messed around periods could be the extra drugs. BUT saying that I had a period when I was two weeks pregnant. It never hurts to do a test. Also I hope you aren't just having sex on that one most fertile day a month. Every second day is good, as it gives the sperm time to build up again. Most of all keep sex fun, not just about procreation. :)) goodluck
