I sure hope it isn't a ling wait to get in to the doctor. That is my only hold up right now. And with Christmas around the corner. I know it won't be till next year.
oh yes do keep me informed :) I'm awaitnig my period this week after my miscarriage but we bonked when I was ovulating so I dont knowe if I will get it, if I'm preggo am expecting to miscarry again but couldnt help myself when I saw the positive opk, oh well , anyway it looks like I wont get on it until around may so let me know :)
If I get on it before you, I will let you know how it works. I know have talked to a few people that have been to the specialist I am waiting.to see and he has given them dhea and they had healthy pregnancies. So here is hoping that the New Year will give both of us some hope and a healthy pregnancy.
I cant6 go on it until I wean so there is a good posibility that you bwill be on it before me, I would be insistant on it when you see your specialist even if they dont think much about it or havent heard much about it, as
i said my specialist is really for it and gas high hopes for me on it :)
Please keep in touch and let me know how it goes with dhea. I am hoping to get an appointment soon when fertility doctor. I had emergency dnc on Wednesday. They are doing genetic testing this time. Maybe I will get some answers. I want to try dhea before trying to get pregnant again.
Hmmm... If definately sounds like it is worth a try.
well my doctoe
i went to nsee is a professor in reproductive medicine and gynaecology, and was one of the very first to help pioneer ivf, so hes the one telling me that I should be on this, he said that it encourages any good eggs to mature, increases egg counts, improves egg/embryo quality and I will have to take it for 3 months as thats how long it takes for an egg to mature and I'm not allowed to get pregnant during the 3 months, its made in your body naturally but at my age I have 75% less than what I would have had in my mid 20's-30's, ift wont work if I dont have any good follicules left tho, there have been some studies done and they show that this does what they say it does so its worth a shot I think for us older :) ladies than can concieve but are having egg quality issues, he only prescribes a low dose so you dont get any of the side effects, but you do still get other benefits like increase libido :) memory, improved overall feeling and mentally sharper whoo hoo I say :)
I asked my OBGYN about it today. He says he doesn't know much about it and can't prescribe it. But he can refer me to a fertility doctor that can. But he thinks I should just continue trying like I have been and maybe oneday I will be lucky and have a viable pregnancy.
I talked to the RE about this at my appointment on Thursday. He said that there is no known way to increase the viability of eggs, but that many are still using this. THere have been no real studies done, so they really don't know. He did say it couldn't hurt. He did say though, that you need to be on it a very long time. I might give it a shot. Heck, I'll try anything.
yes in low doses it is ment to make your overies produce healthy eggs, so increase the chance of a viable pregnancy, thats why I'm looking at taking it, you need to be taking it for 3 months before you fall pregnant as it take 3 months for an egg to get ready and then to be released
I am wondering the same thing??? Would it maybe help me stop having miscarriages????
