Did 2nd baby come faster???

Im 37 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby. I'm 2 cm dilated. I had my daughter 1day before my due date. Was the 2nd baby faster?

I just found out im preggers with my 3rd about 4wk now.  My first baby the labor lasted 12 hrs, with my second baby I had a 28hr labor...maybe because there was a 10 yr span from 1st to 2nd. We shall see if all goes well with this third how long my labor will be.

I'm still pregnant with my second baby ,but my friends just had theirs ..first was 4 days earlier and labor was 1 hr with firefighters at home   ( omg!!),second was at 41+ week ,normal labor 6 hrs total

I thought the same as you and was disappointed when my second came 6 days past my due date (my first came 6 days before with my water breaking naturally). Both of mine were very fast deliveries tho!

No not for me I had first at 38?weeks and quick labour(4 hrs) pushed for half hour, no stitches, second was on due day, 8 hr labour pushed for 15 minutes , had stitches  and baby was smaller!

My 2nd baby was 2 weeks late so no, not for me though delivery was faster :)

I'm pregnant with my second too. My midwife told me that after your first delivery, your cervix isn't as closed and as long as it you are a first time mom. Which means that labor is faster cause you have some cm advantage!
