Donor egg/menopause?

If I was to stop having a period and actually be in menopause would that rule out the idea of IVF with donor eggs?  Thanks so much for the help.

That's a good question.  I would think if the lining could be built up through hormones, then either donor eggs could be used but I'm not an re either.

Hi Kate - Not at all.  As long as your uterus is healthy, your lining can be built up through hormone treatment.  Women up into their 50's carry children to term:)

There was another poster here awhile back that had IVF through donor after menopause, so I know it can happen!  Best of luck to you!!
