EARLY ovulation

does early ovulation generaly mean a shorter cycle?? I ovulated on CD7 this month so I was wondering if I should expect AF a week earlier than usual or if that has no effect on the length of your cycle..............

Yes, well it all started with the whole if it happens then great, if not then I won't be disappointed because I have two lovely boys already kind of thing. But then my cycles got really wacky and my husband is away a lot so I started tracking just to monitor things really. I got the cheap ovulation test strips and they work great at detecting my surge but it really is all over the place and some months I have has two surges!

I typically get AF 12 dpo.  I have short cycles.  This can definately be thyroid related...if you have a thyroid issue.  I try to keep my TSH levels between 1-2.  I get my bloodwork levels every 3 months, especially with TTC, but its always good to keep checking as I get older!  My short cycles are definately thyroid related and I am now scheduled to see an Endocrinologist/Fertility specialist in two weeks!

I have been thinking the same thing, my cycles have been all over the place. last one was 24 days, one before that was 27 but the one before that was 39 and I have even had some over 40 days in the last year! Right now I am on CD 29, I have no idea when I ovulated, I kept getting faint positives on my OPK's but no real surge, then I ran out of the things! It is frustrating for sure!!

looks like 12 dpo for me. AF started today on CD19!!! I have to call my doctor and find out what he wants to do about my hormone level check. I didnt even make it to CD21:( Maybe it is premenopause:(

I had that happen to me last cycle.  AF came CD 22.  I was worried about the start of perimenopause, but everyone tells me this happens to all of us every now and then.  I wouldn't worry to much.  How long has it been seen you got your mirena out?  Maybe your body is still adjusting.

Yes, I notice AF shows up for me around 14-16 days past ovulation. Sometimes I ovulate earlier therefore my AF comes earlier. The things us women go thru huh...

Yes, you should add 2 weeks after your O day and that will give you the day to expect AF. Hopefully it wont show! Good luck!
