Failed the Glucose Tolerance Test

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you know that i went for the Glucose test today and the results are really high - they are way above the normal range and so i guess i have Gestational Diabetes. I am praying hard that i am able to control it by diet and exercise alone. I am 27 weeks 4 days today.

I hope you can manage it with just the diet... I go iin two weeks for my test, I was fine with the last three babies, but did come back high on the one hour test with my first.  Good luck to you =)

I did one with diet.. and the next with insulin.. it wasn't that bad.. don't worry.  My babies only weighed 7lbs 4 oz so it will all work out

Sorry to hear this.  I failed the 1 hour test be passed the 3 hour test by the skin of my teeth.  Was this the 3 hour test?

My sister had gestational diabetes and was able to manage with diet and exercise. Everything went fine. Good luck!
