Hi,

I've been having some problem with swollen feet (well, the swelling goes up to my knees now).  Today I officially couldn't put on any of my shoes except slipper types - wearing crocs now.  The swelling doesn't go down significantly even over night.

I tried to wear my sports shoes today, but my feet started cramping so bad I had to take them off.  This ain't good. I used to have shapely ankles and calves and now there's no definition, only pudge!

I've found compression stocking which help temporarily but end up with huge lumps anywhere the compression is not even, and it's so hot and gets smelly.... (I live in the tropics)..... plus got to wash them every day...

I know we can't use diuretics, but any advice on how I could try to deflate my feet and legs.  Definitely a water retention problem.  I'm drinking heaps to try to flush it and as a result end up about 3-5 lbs heavier at night than in the morning....  Any teas that may help and are safe.... trying to put them up as much as possible, and keep exercising....

Try massaging your feet and legs. I'm not sure if that would help, but I've heard that it might because of increased circulation.

My feet ankles and knees are swelling. Dr. said it was medication and did not comment further.  How long does this go on?  B.Harrell    Help!

BP fine so far - actually excellent - about 90 / 50 in the mornings and doesn't go higher than about 110/70 throughout the day. Have a home monitor.

Elevating not working to reduce it, though it does stop it getting worse.

Reckon I'm just one of the lucky people who gets swollen legs during pregnancy.
