Finally tested and got a BFP-18dpo -on antibiotics

Hello everyone.  I just returned since 2010 when I had my miscarriage.  I got my BFP today (First HPT surprisingly).  I actually didn't expect this one.  Now, I do have a question.  I am on antibiotics (Macrobid) because I keep getting a UT (weird).  But i just read online that it should not be taken with any vitamins, antacid, etc.  I am a bit worried now, because I wasn't expecting this, I drank alcohol last weekend and the weekend before, and now on antibiotics.  I am 37 and i know its crucial to take folic acid and prenatals. I know I am high risk because of my age. Anyone come across this?

Thank you.  I did call my doctor.  They didn't give me an appiontment until July 11, (UGH!) so I left a message on the nurse's station and asked a nurse to call me. Guess I am going to have to go through the weekend without prenatals and folic acid, till I hear from someone :(

You should Phone your doctor to let them know. Plenty of ladies become pregnant and don't know it. Your doctor can advise you if the antibiotics are ok. If he has you continue them ask to see how many hours apart you should take them from your vitamins.
Congrats on your pregnancy!
