Floaters? Anyone else?

I am 32w pregnant and this morning I noticed that I had little "zippy" things flying around in my vision. It only lasted about 10 secs. then went away. Well, I was fine after that, went to my doc appmnt and started getting the little black floaters in my vision. My BP(112/70) and urine were fine, and she just said keep an eye on it, it could be my BP. I would think if it was my BP it wouldve been high while she was taking it, as I was experiencing it then :/  Anyone have any ideas what else it could be from? Any input would be appreciated! Thx ladies :)

I've had floaters for a few years and my Mom has had them for over twenty years. It sounds exactly like the same thing you are describing... kind of greyish/black blurry things floating around my vision. It may have nothing to do with your pregnancy at all. My optometrist told me it was really common and nothing to worry about as long as I could see properly (I can) but if they changed to white floaters that looked like snowfall in my vision to go back because that could indicate a tear of ... ummmm???....something. (I don't remember what. LOL)  My G.P. did tell me that eyes are often affected by pregnancy when I had my last son.
It might not be a bad idea to ask your optometrist, but really it sounds just like what Mom and I have which is nothing to worry about at all.

Hey there! I think my BP runs low. It could be that. When it started happening again at the docs, she took my BP right then and it was 112/70, which she said was good. So I dont know. Its happened to me before, when I havent been preggo, but my anxiety kicks in adn it freaks me out :(  And as far as eating, I try to eat regularly, but Ive only gained 6 lbs in 32 weeks, but the baby is measuring good, so I guess I shouldnt worry. Thx again for the help!  Have a great Easter!

I have at various times in my life had mildly low blood pressure, and have had my vision go sort of funny for a short bit. Had you eaten yet when it happened? Could of also been a bit of dizziness. I bet it is a bloodpressure thing, and by the time she took it, all was ok again.  Take it easy, make sure you eat properly, and make sure you let her know if it keeps happening.
