Heartburn and Prilosec OTC

At 18.5 weeks my heartburn is not getting better---I've had it since four weeks!  The heartburn is what makes me throw up almost nightly.  I was put on the Rx Reglan and it made me "nutty."  I was very restless and anxious and the warnings were to quit it immediately if I experienced those symptoms.  So, my OB put me on Prilosec OTC this week----I have read pros and cons on line.....anyone else out there have an opinion?

I had intense heartburn my entire pg.  It was one of my first pg symptoms. I took prilosec for most of my pg.  My dr said it was okay to take and it hasn't had any adverse affects that I know of.  My son was born 2/11/08 with no problems.
