I am 12wks 3days along and woke up this morning to some pretty heaving bleeding. More than just spotting...more like the first day of my period. This is my 3rd pregnancy the last two ended in misscarriages at 5 wks and 10 wks. Hearing your stories gives me some hope that my appt this afternoon might not be bad news. I'm so glad that things are going well for you..
Everyone, thank you!!! I feel a lot better especially after my results today (see separate post). Thanks for posting your stories of like-bleeding at similar points along the way. I thought the amount of blood I passed was so much...I almost passed out (from the site of it) and it was the tremendous clots that were the most scary. I was so afraid to see a little bean in there and I'm so happy that I did not have to experience that.
Anyways, once again, thanks all for your support!!!

I had this happen too at 13 weeks with my thrid child. There was SO much blood it was literally running down my legs. I had had an u/s hours before (for other reasons) and there had been a good hb. I opted not to go to ER because I was in Toronto during the height or SARs. DS is 4 and perfectly fine. The bleeding lasted about a week then went away on its own. Good luck. I know its really scary.
Oh, and Congrats and Good Luck!!!!
Okay, I'm not over 35, but I figured I could write, since I've had one. Sorry!!
I had a subchorionic hemmorage at 13 weeks. I started to bleed, and thought for sure i was having a miscarriage. We went into the ER, and they ran an US, and my little baby was in there jumping around. The ER put me on bed rest, and when I saw my dr, they continued for a week, and then to take it easy. The bleed was there until I was 30 weeks, but I never had any external bleeding after the first time. I now have a 7 week old beautiful girl. Did they tell you the size? Mine was very small. My dr told me that these were very common, so I wouldn't worry too much. (like that will happen!!) Just thought I would let you know.
this is so scary, we think we are safe when we hit 12 weeks or close to it....
but things do happen. azqtpies and cpatow - i hope all of your bleeding stops and your babies stay safe and cozy.
Wow.. that must have been very scary to deal with. I'm really sorry.. like the others that have post, I have no experience in this area but wanted to say that I am sorry for what you are going through.. I hope it all turns out okay..
Hang in there and try to take it easy... Hannah (22wk5d)
Oh gosh, I always panic when I see you because we are within days of eachother. (12 wk's on Wed). I have no good advice but well wishes that everything remains healthy and the bleeding doesn't come back!
sorry for all the agony you must have gone through....i have no experience on this particular issue,i just want to wish you a happy and uneventful -remaining-28 weeks, hope this bleeding just ends here and all continues well! Good luck!
I was in the er last night too for brown spotting, no red but it started friday... and then again yesterday. like you they ran all there test, the baby was great, the cervix was closed and no blood around the uterus anywhere. unexplained spotting. I am still worried as i have never experienced this before, i have alot of pressure down there but no cramping. i see my ob tues and i am on bedrest until then. i wish you the best !!! good luck
