How do you know when vericose veins could be dangerous?

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and on my feet all day long 5-6 days a week for work. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have a vein that runs from my left calf all the way into my vagina...and progressively gets bigger as it gets higher. It is painful by the end of the day but usually lessens by morning. I'm concerned about clots but I know it's rare...when should I worry?

I'd mention it to your doctor- it's worth asking about!

Have you talked to your doctor?
Do you wear compression stockings?
Sounds like you might be a good candidate for them...
