Is this normal?

I posted before about my m/c on the 17th, I was bleeding but not heavey, like a pad every 2 hours, in the ER they did not draw blood, but did an U/S threw my tummy and said that it was a m/c,sent me on my way with a scrip for pain meds????? I did not have any pain at all and told them that, maybe they thougt I would get some. They also told me to return if I had fever or chills, by the 19th there was no more bleeding, I never past any clots or anything else. They also did not tell me to follow up with my OB, do you only need to draw blood every week if you are planning on trying again? I never had any signs of being pregnant, but today I woke up feeling very pregnant??? Is this normal, I know might just being reaching here, but is there any chance I am still pregnant? Yes I know I have to make an apt with my OB but well I feel like the longer I put it off is that many more days I get to fool myself into thinking there is still a chance. Is there any danger in my waiting?

Ok, this is a little weird then IMO.  W/the 2 MC's I had naturally, I FOR SURE passed clots, & both were between weeks 6 1/2-7.  W/my first, I really had no pain, but FOR sure clots, plus did b/w.  W/my second which was a blighted ovem,  I was bleeding, & passed a HUGE clot (sadly, in a porta potty @ my dd's soccer game....sad) & I KNEW that was the sac & all that.  Well, I still had VERY little pain, really nothing but I felt very VERY sick & was gonna pass out.  I wen't to the ER, they were very confused, cuz I had my HUGE 9CM cyst in my left ovary, so they were SUPER worried that I was having an etopic.  My levels were still up, & nothing in my womb.  I had to CONVINCE them I had a cyst!  Anyway, once they gave me fluids, & Zofran, I felt better & still no pain.  BUT a few hours later, even though I had passed everything, only had a few clots  left in my uterus, I had THE WORSE pain for about 3 days!  I thought something was wrong, turned out I was fine, but my cramping was my uterus going down, since I had that stupid cyst, my uterus was bigger than it should have been.  It was a VERY painful MC for me.

I know from both my natural MC's experience that the cramps do vary, BUT the fact that you never had cramps, & no clots makes me really wonder???

Go in & get a beta done ASAP!  Just call you OB & request one!  They shouldn't care!
Keep us posted ;o)

I would definitely have bloodwork done, and another u/s if possible.  I would think you would have passed more clots?  Pls get it checked, follow your gut instinct.

i have had a mc and i can completly understand what you are feeling.  i had mine very early, and i did pass clots but i do normally (sorry so gross).  about a week after i felt so pg again.  i wished and prayed they were wrong.  i had my bloodwork done and it showed my numbers going down.  i wish i could say it was possible but i dont know.

have your bloodwork done to made sure. how far along were you?  i wish you the best!
i dont believe half of what the er tells us.  with this baby they told me i was mc'ing at 5 weeks when i went in for kidney stones.  they were wrong.  im not trying to give false hope, im just saying i dont always think they understand ob as much as your personal dr.
