Miscarriage bleeding

Hello, I am new to this site and was wondering does anyone know if the bleeding you experience is considered a period? Also does anyone know when you ovulate again if that is not considered the first period? I am TTC again and its difficult not know when all this is supposed to happen? My doc gave me the go ahead but didn't give me details. Thank for any help you can give me.

Mel is exactly right.  You do not consider it a period until your first regular cycle. In my case it always seemed to be about 5 weeks after my m/c bleeding stopped, but it varies from women to women.

It is difficult to know when you will ovulate after a loss.  Once you have a regular period you can begin tracking using whatever method you prefer.

I am so sorry for your loss and wish you all the best in ttc again.
