Not a question-just a note of thanks

I really just wanted to thank all of you lovely ladies for helping me with my first trimester screening results issues and concerns.  I only get on here like 2 times per week (when I work), so it takes me some time to get back to everyone when they reply to me.  So, I've read posts to my concerns, and I've read them for other people's, and your thoughts/opinions/advice is soooo helpful!  I opted to take the Modified Sequential Screen this morning, only because I figured it would give my OB/perinatologist more info to go by when doing the ultrasound.  I was telling Pam this morning that even though it's her job to look at the level 2 carefully on 8/11, I figured my results from this test will make her be even more careful, whatever those results may be.  It may sound silly, but it helped give me peace of mind for taking the test.  Will I freak out if they come back worse than my first trimester screen results, you bet.  But, if my level 2 comes back fine, then I will be ok and will leave it at that.  My OB/perinatologist said she's never missed a trisomy on a level 2 u/s, so I'm going to feel good going into it with her.  I just wanted to give her more info to go by.  Amnio is not for me, and I pray I won't need it after the level 2 u/s in a couple of weeks.  I just felt so inspired and much more relaxed after reading all of your comments and experiences to me, Adgal, etc..., and I am so grateful to have you all on this journey with me.  Peace and love to you all today. :)

I'm so happy to hear you're feeling more relaxed. I'm sure after that level II you'll be able to start really enjoying this pg. I'm still in the ttc mode but I have a feeling I will be very nervous as you were. I know it's normal for us to worry especially since we've gone through a mc. It's just so wonderful to have a support group like this one here. Take care and let us know how everything turns out!!

great!! i would opt out of the amnio also... one lady on here had one and lost her baby because of it.. I am glad you found peace
