I am 36 and 16 weeks pregnant and I haven't felt my baby move yet I am kinda worried this is my third baby and haven't felt it move yet is this normal? I don't know what to do I go to the doctor next week and I hope everything is good
I have an anterior placenta and have been told that I probably won't feel anything for quite some time. Later than women who don't have an anterior placenta. For peace of mind, I bought a fetal heart monitor so at least i can check for the hb. (i'm only a little over 12 weeks now so not expecting to feel anything yet, but just thinking of the future). I'm on another pregnancy forum and from reading there, I'd say it's not unusual to not feel anythig at 16 weeks.
I'm 21 weeks with my third also, and dont recall feeling much at all at 16 weeks, in fact i was getting concerned i wasn't feeling much at 19 weeks! But at my 19 week u/s it showed that baby was turned inwards, meaning i wouldnt feel anything unless he turned around. Even now, i might only get a couple of 'taps' a day, i remember being about 24 weeks before i felt any definate 'kicks'. I honestly wouldn't worry too much :)
Im 21 weeks ans felt my first flutters at 18 weeks... THen felt first proper kick on the outsise at 19 weeks and now my baby ia wiggling all ovee the place. But they tols me my placenta is at the back so its easier for me to feel. Everyonea different. I remember at 16 wks i was so paranoid and waiting for every slightest thing! Everyones different z z just take it easy and relax xx
