Not testing again but DH asked if I tested. Help!

Hi there,
So last month I had a false positive 9 DPIUI due to HCG boost. On 11 DPIUI it was negative. So somewhere around day 10 the HCG was all cleared. This month I waited until 11 days post IUI and BFN again. I used FRER regular not digital. So I decided to wait for AF (Thurs night typically) and not torture myself. This morning my DH asked if I tested again. Now I am tempted. But I am trying so hard not to obsess. What is FRER accuracy 4 days before your period? I was just thinking I'd rather have a nice surprise if no AF on Friday.

Oh, I am sorry. You will find the way, I know this. You have a lot of support here and believe me, we will all pray until the day you are finally holding that baby in your arms.

BFN but I am okay. We had some shocking news right before we TTCd so I do not think either one of us had good energy. Thanks as always ladies. Time to pray and reconsider how we go about this. You never let me down.

I still have a box of FRER so I pulled it out. It says 62% accurate 5 days early, 78% 4 days early, 87% 3 days early and 98% 2 days early.  It is amazingly sensitive.  I had a positive on it 2 pregnancies ago where blood HCG said 19.  This pregnancy I got a positive and bloodwork the next day showed a level of 33.

Good luck Renee, I am rooting for you!!!!

I think FRER's are only like 60 something percent accurate that early. Don't give up yet, maybe your dh knows something you do not! : )

I used FRER with my last pregnancy and got BFN's until 15 dpo... then BFP!  So sometimes it takes a while for even FRER to pick up a positive.

I think it really depends on the pregnancy... sometimes you implant earlier and sometimes later.. hcg starts being produced when you implant..

If you had hcg trigger that means you had the shot done 24 to 36 hours before IUI and it should be out of you system by 10 days after shot.. your false positive could have been left over hcg trigger shot or an ealy pregnancy loss..

A hcg booster is actually when you continue with lower dose hcg injections after your IUI... If you are actually doing booster shots then the hcg will likely not be out of your system befoer AF starts..  I had booster shots and got a positive pregnancy test the day AF came..
