Others having strong ovulation symptoms?

I posted this once not long after Ryder was born, but it's so crazy, I have to ask again.  Anyone else getting really strong ovulation symptoms?  Prior to having him I never had any at all.  My cycle returned when he was about 5 months old and suddenly?  Really strong symptoms around O time.  Tender breasts, a bit of mild bloating and even some mild nausea.  It went away eventually, then since my cycle returned after my last loss and d&c, right back again.  I expect to ovulate in the next 24 hours or so and my breasts are as tender as they were pregnant! Mild cramping on both sides of abdomen as well (maybe I am going to release 2 eggs..lol)  And I am most definately currently not pregnant.  I know our bodies go through all sorts of hormonal changes as we age, but I can't find many references to ovulation symptoms like these.  Anyone else?

That happened to me after the birth of my DD 9 years ago! It is still going strong! I hope a 2nd pregnancy wont make it go the other way. :)

My symptoms are no stronger than before my pregnancy. The main change though is that I have never had such a strong sex drive lol!! My body wants me to be pregnant again or what??

I have all those symptoms too, especially the tender breasts. I am on Cd 8, I have been having some very weird cycles over the last few months but today I start feeling the familiar soreness in my breast and have just started getting left sided pains. I will start with my OPK's tomorrow. The last two months I have had very strong positives at CD13 and CD14 but no luck with pregnancy yet.

I had some similar symptoms just after ovulation that I never experienced before my D&C. I had O pain in my side and then would be a little nauseous a day or 2 later, my bb were sore some months also. Weird but I guess our bodies are adjusting to all the changes. I don't get those symptoms every month though. It is very strange.

Which would you consider ovulation day for me? Had all the symptoms mentioned above yesterday and pos opk. But today no symptoms above, but I do have stretchy cm today (none yesterday) and just took another opk, still positive? Also my temp went from 96 yesterday to 97 today. But I had all symptoms yesterday. Which would you choose as your ovulation day?

Well I'm glad I'm not alone in this.  I am pretty sure I have ovulated as when I woke up this morning they were almost completely gone.  The tender breasts especially were sort of a gradual build up over the last few days, now they are pretty much normal.  It's just so odd..drives me bonkers!  And I am certain it's ovulation.  Even though I said I wouldn't, I gave in and used OPK's this month (what can I say, I am a pee on a stick addict...lol).  Got my positive last night when the tenderness and other symptoms were at their worst.  So strange....I hope it doesn't keep happening every month.

I have the exact same symptoms.  You and I both got AF on the same day!  But, my cycles are every 24 days.  I knew I would be due to ovulate yesterday or today....if Im ovulating.  I did get pain in my right ovary yesterday.  It was a little more painful than normal.  I also had a little pain on my breast, but more on the left.  I was extremely bloated and constipated, but I am NOT having any of these symptoms today.  My ovulation symptoms are so much more aggressive now, especially since I am more "in tune" with my body.  Im there with ya! Hopefully this is our month.

I don't have the same symptoms as you but I do get really bad pain on the side that is ovulating before, during and after I ovulate and it has actually had me doubled over in pain a few times and makes me feel quite sick.  This only started happening every month after I had my 2nd m/c a few years ago!! I asked my doctor at the time about it and she said it's called 'middleschmert' or something like that which basically means pain in the middle of your cycle. As horrible as it is, at least I do know when I ovulate so you can BD around that time as I, like you, are trying for my 2nd baby.  Good luck!!

I am totally having this too!!! I have been panicking that I might even be pregnant right now because I had those exact symptoms the last few days - my nipples were so sore it really hurt to breastfeed - but 1) there really is no chance that I am pregnant and 2) the symptoms are much less now, in fact almost gone.  The mild cramping felt just like the mild uterus cramps I had while pregnant.  Finn is 6 months old and I have had 2 AF's so far - just like clock work - and I should have ovulated yesterday. It is strange that my AF returned so quick and so regular because I am still breastfeeding full time - but I am glad because this way I will be ready when/if we decide to ttc again - yikes!!

I am assuming it is our bodies still adjusting to the pregnancy and all of the hormones - maybe we are extra fertile now, since our bodies know what to do.  That would be nice, right?
