I'm 38 weeks 4 days and so done with pregnancy. Since Friday my feet have been swollen and now my face is too :( midwife is keeping an eye on me daily; thankfully blood pressure is fine. I also have pains in my pelvis - pressure pains I believe and it's hard to walk sometimes. Midwife told me to have lots of sex to and said to make sure I orgasm because it contracts the uterus and can help get contractions started. The chemical in semen helps open the cervix. The nipple stimulation is supposed to be good too but you have to stick with it - 15 mins every two hours. It tricks the body into thinking that you have an infant feeding which in turn opens the cervix. Have a spicy curry and eat lots of fresh pineapple too! Try everything :)

I'm sorry you're feeling that yucky discomfort of last days of pregnancy.  It *****. But you're still lucky. I'm just 33 weeks and wish I were 38. I know nipple stimulation has been said to work. Sex, walking and if you have a birthing ball try rolling and bouncing gently.
I hope your little arrives sooner rather than later.
