Please help. Calcification on baby's heart

5 months pregnant just went to find out the sex of the baby.  doctor saw a calcification on baby's heart.  he said, "these usually go away but this one is rather large so we don't know.  you'll have to come back in 6 weeks so we can look again."  

heart problems in father's family and mother's family.

test was negative for down's.  

anyone have this happen or have any information?

I dont know about this, but hope you find some answers.  If the Dr said they usually go away it doesnt sound tooo major.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  good luck

I wish I had some answers for you, but I have never heard of this.  If you don't get a response from someone, or can't find anything on the web, maybe ask the forum docs.  They have been pretty helpful to me at times.  Good luck and I will pray that it is nothing to be concerned about.
