Around my 40th birthday last month, got the gift of pregnancy! (Anyone see "This Is 40"? Yeah, I cried.) I had been looking fwd to starting a new chapter of my life, hoping to raise my 7 & 3 yr olds (girl & boy) to the next stages of childhood - in midst of potty training; wishing for the end of diapers! Well, looks like that ain't happening! I'm in my 12th week (Yay! Last wk of 1st tri!), and trying to overcome the worst case of nausea I've ever had. But in the end, hoping, praying for a healthy baby. Because that's all that really matters. Oh, and being able to try the new & improved baby gadgets out now! ;)

I am 42 we have been trying for a while. This is my 10th pregnancy and I have 2  beautiful girls. I am 7 weeks and nervous to be disappointed again. With my girls the  pregnancy symptoms were severe with this pregnancy I just don't feel as hungry as I used to however when I do eat I also don't feel full or satisfied. Sending positive energy and baby dust to all of you in this forum

Thank you guys for your responses.  I don't feel so alone now. I know a lot of women are having babies in their 40's, but most are first babies that chose to have them later. It is starting all over for sure. I am getting more excited each day. Thank God I have a supportive husband. Jediprincess, we are almost in the same boat! Keep in touch!

It was a surprise! We have 2 16 year olds and an 18 year old. We were done and looking forward to it being just the two of us again. My FIL passed away on 10/19 and we found out 11/10 we are expecting. I am so scared to start over! Wish this happened 10 years ago.
