Progesterone levels

We have been trying to become prenant with our second child for the past 7 months.  I just had my first progesterone level test 7 days after my LH surge - my progesterone level is 11.  Does this mean my levels are too low to become pregnant?  Please help!

My Doctor wanted me to be 25 after being pregnant, and I was 30 with taking progesterone supplements, so it definitely rises when you are pregnant, but I would ask for a level once you are.

I had mine done at 5 dpo and it was 11.9. The doctor seems to think that number's fine, so I'm sure you're OK too then. I've always heard anything over 10 is good.

Makes me wonder sometimes, though, when I hear of people who have much higher levels. I remember reading on one of these forums that someone had a progesterone level of 90-something...but I think she was on progesterone supplements.

Good luck to you!

I think that is probably pretty good.  I think anything over 9 or 10 means you ovulated.  good luck to you.
