Question about early pregnancy symptoms

I'm 9 dp IUI and in the past few days my bbs have been sore (which is normal for me before AF) and past couple of days I've been going to the bathroom frequently, very frequently. I know it's not an infection, b/c I had UTI before, and I don't have any burning sensation or discolored urine (sorry if it's TMI) I just barely get back from the bathroom and 5 min. later I have the feeling again... I'm really hoping this is a sign that I'm pregnant. I'm almost 36, no children so far and DH and I would really really like to have a baby. Oh, and I've been bloated too, more than normal (before AF).

Hey there,
I'm so sorry you got your period. The feeling of disappointment is very familiar. I was very bummed when I got mine about 2 weeks ago. All the signs were indicating that I was pregnant, which I probably was for 2 short weeks. I told the dr. about my symptoms and asked him if it could've been chemical pregnancy and he said it's very possible. Some signs started kicking in between 5-7 dp IUI. I couldn't believe it. I got so excited. When I started spotting I was pretty sure I was pregnant, since my period never starts days ahead. It always kicks in on the same day, full power. Anyways. I got my period with very heavy cramping all day (which I never had before) and I read  (after the fact) this could happen when you have a chemical pregnancy. I didn't even know about this until someone suggested why I have BFNs on the HTPs. Now I know I do have a chance to get pregnant, it's just a matter of time. At least I hope that next time the baby (is what the dr called it too ) will actually implant. I did have an IUI Wed. am but I had to fib about my OPK test being positive. I might have to find a diff. place to store the tests, is why it might've not worked properly. I know I was ovulating though, so I'm not worried. :)  So now I'm in the 2ww. I'm trying not to focus on this too much. I'm gonna try and eat healthy, stay away from foods that should be avoided during pregnancy, relax, not lift anything heavy, and live life "normal". Not sure how this is gonna work out, but I'll try. I don't want to drive myself (and DH) crazy and read into "symptoms". Especially if I get the same symptoms as last time. I'm only gonna believe if I see a BFP. Anyways. Sorry I got so lengthy.
I read it on other forums that the success rate for IVF is very good. When are you gonna go for it? Are you starting right away? Keep me posted and let me know how you're doing. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless and hugs!

Hey,

Well things didnt go as I hoped, Day 12 I got my period. One thing that I have learned is that you can't fight nature,  you may be ready to have a baby but your body may not be there yet. I still have not given up at all, we are now onto IVF. it is more $$ but the outcome seems to be in our favour. How did everything go with you?? hope you are well and my prayers and thoughts are still with you!!

Hey,
thanks for the well wishes :) Although I'm not taking anything (I've been having natural IUIs), I've been bloated like never before. I don't have a lot of lower abdomen pain, just every now and then, I can feel something, alternating between lthe eft and right side. Not sure if that means anything. After my 2nd IUI my bbs started getting sore 4 dp and it just got worse from then on until AF arrived. This time it started 6dp IUI and it hasn't gotten worse yet. My friend told me she was very irritable 2-3 days after she conceived (naturally), bloated and frequent bathroom visits, so I feel encouraged but I don't want to get my hopes up.
Do you feel any irritability? Let me know how it goes with your 2ww. I hope you get a BFP!!
Are you gonna do any early testing? You know, I can drive myself crazy with reading all the websites trying to figure out all the early symptoms but eventually I have to realize that it's totally out of my hands. At the end of the day, i let go, and let God. :)) My thoughts and prayers are with you! :)

Hi Hun,

I can relate to your symptoms i am 5 dp IUI #3, and taking progesterone pills. I have the same bloating from previous IUIs but urinating a lot more frequently and discomfort in my lower abdomen where it feels like I did 100 + crunches and sat up, which are symptoms i have never had before. but i do feel crampy every now and then. I hope that all the symptoms that you are feeling are early pregnancy symptoms. you are lucky you are almost done your 2ww.. all the best thoughts and prayers to you !!

Thank you:) and I appreciate your reply :)))  i actually did one early this morning and it's BFN, but I still have until Tuesday to reach 14 dp IUI, and I'm still having the frequency. I'm not sure if I should just wait and do another test in a few days or go see a dr about it. Is it normal that sometimes I go every 30 mins?  this not knowing for sure is driving me crazy...lol
