Results of nuchal translucency

All's good!!!  They moved my due date to may 30th but said that the baby is measuring 5 days older than that date.  The nuchal was 1.7 which is good I will recieve the blood work results in about a week then they will give me my risk.  It was great to see the baby.. saw him moving saw him sucking his thumb it was terrific.  the last u/s was at 7w and couldn't really see anything.  DH was so excited.  This is his first baby and he said it is all more real now.  :)  whew I am relieved!!!

1.5 is just fine.  You have posted under an old thread, and I can tell you that Meli (the original poster) has a gorgeous, healthy, perfect little 1 year old now.  Congrats on your pregnancy and good luck!

Hi ladies ,
Today I had my nuchal translucency @ 12 wks 2 days, and was told my measurements was at 1.5. I this good? The tech also stated they lije to see the number under 3. But I was told by the tech I would have to wait about a wk for the results because I also had blood work and the results are combined. It felt really good to see my baby today, he/she was very active arms/legs moving all over the place. And baby kept putting arms in the ait, I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. Any advise from anyone?

Just returned from my nuchal translucency ultrasound too. The nuchal measured approximately 1mm, which the technician said was very good. Blood lab results should be back in about a week. Also great to see the baby again. Such a relief to see the little one active and moving around. Little arms and legs moving, and such a cute little profile! The placenta is in the front so the technician said it might be several more weeks before I can feel baby's movements. My first 2 babies the placenta was in the back of the uterus, so I was feeling them moving around 15 weeks. Knowing about this placenta placement, I won't have to worry as much if I don't feel baby moving next week yet.    (14 weeks, 1 day)

Good luck Melanie
guatmommy I am sure that they all do it differently... they told me the measurement... 1.7mm it should be under 2.5mm depending on weeks... they said they couldnĀ“t give me my calculated risk until blood work came back but did say that the nuchal test was within the norms... good luck I am sure all is fine
