Round ligament pain

So curious if anyone has experienced this and how to deal with it - last night I had the worst pains that started on my pubic bone and moved down into the vaginal area and felt like they were going up inside me - I was hurting so bad it was hard to walk without bending over - I was scared to death that I was losing the pregnancy - my obgyn's office assures me that unless I am bleeding and cramping it's ok - just round ligament pain.  I've had RLP on the left and the right - but its there for a moment and then gone - this lasted all evening - and today still achy and sore down there - please tell the crazy lady she isn't totally crazy and that you guys have experienced this too - lol - on a funny note - my obgyn's office was teasing me about being paranoid - who? me?

Im 13 weeks and 2 days and started feeling the ligament stretching a couple weeks ago. I first noticed it one night while I was lying in bed and I sneezed.  I got this quick, sharp stabbing pain right inbetween my pubic and my hip bone...right around where  your ovaries are. It scared the bageebers out of me too.
Then I looked it up and figured it was RLP.   I mentioned it to my Dr. at my next visit just to be sure, and she confirmed that it was absouletly that.   I also get it if I roll over or change postions too quickly..and sometimes while stretching.   It hurts, but a good sign noneless that things are stretching and making room for the lil' bugger!

Mine don't last long....literally seconds...and I only seem to feel it on the right side.  But everyone's different!

Hey! I get daily RLP. Sometimes when I stretch too much too. No worries, seems like everyday something feels "weird", but we are just going to have to roll with it. I just keep asking all my friends who have had babies when I get a "weird" thing and 9 times out of 10, they laugh and say oh ya, I remember that!
