Hello ladies,
I'm 36 and am now 8 weeks along. I've always had periodic break-outs. And have recently discovered that there is help for me yet. And you if you are looking for all natural products to help with your acne. Most Acne is caused by a hormone imbalance. Like the stuff you get on your jawline. But this will help you no matter where it is.

Give coconut oil a try. I'll tell you why. The PH level in coconut oil is as close to your own as you can get. And when you have a shower wash first with your mild soap and rinse well. Then just put a few drops of oil in the palm of your hand and rub it all over your face. Let it sit for a few seconds. More time will not change the effectiveness. Then with a clean facecloth and some hotter water, lightly wipe it off.

Your skin will absorb what it needs, also conditioning the pores. It will replace your skins need to make more oil and you will have less outbreaks. Most outbreaks are caused from over active oil glands. If you introduce coconut oil to your skin, your own glands won't have to work so hard to produce their own.

You may think, "if my skin is overly oily, why would I add more oil?" The answer is simple, coconut oil will help your pores produce less oil without causing any damage. And it will help you have nice soft skin.

I buy the clear oil from the beauty care isle in my local supermarket. 100% natural. And my skin now thanks me for it. Some of you may have to venture to your local health food store to find it. But it should be cheaper than buying Clearasil or any other acidic type product. The problem with using those brand products is it drys up your skin, chemically damaging it for the time being, then your skin has to produce even more oil to balance it out. Causing the problem to just repeat itself.

I hope you find this helpful. Good luck with your pregnancy and look forward to a wonderful change in life!

Steff.

I feel your pain LOL!
With my first two pregnancies I had the best skin ever. This time around the first 2-3 months were so hideous with massive breakouts. I donned the Clearasil every night before bed and changed my moisturizer to an oil free variety and it worked straight away. Possibly my hormones had settled at the same time but I'm convinced the moisturizer made a massive difference.

Pretty much any over the counter medication (such as clearasil) should be fine, but buy it at a drugstore and run it by the pharmacist.  You can also run it by your Dr.

Also, you are going to laugh, but a product that worked really well for me (and a few others I have recommended it to) was toothpaste.  Unfortunately it can also dry your skin, but it does get rid of the acne.  Good luck!
