Sinus infection during early pregnancy

Hi everyone,
I am just a few weeks pregnant. Probably around 7-8 weeks. I have been fighting this horrible sinus infection for 4 days now. I have been using the Neti pot and that's about it. I know sudafed is safe, but I hate medication for high blood pressure so I'm not sure if it's still safe.  Should I give in and call my family dr or my ob?? I really don't want to take MORE medications, but this is driving me nuts! Thank you for any input!

My acupuncturist gave me some herbal pills for sinus infection that are safe for use during pregnancy.  They were really great.  They were a goldenseal and echinacea combination.  I don't usually get much out of Chinese herbals, but these knocked out my sinus infection.  If you have an acupuncturist or know one, you might give it a try.

I had a terrible sinus infection recently - was not pregnant. I had to take antibiotics. I would recommend you go see your OBGyn, he/she will probably give you antibiotics, there are some that are safe for early pregnancy.
