Thanks to BarbOver40 I now have a question about insurance. My company is switching soon too. I'm not pregnant but am I still cool with infertility treatments? I was on Blue Cross in PA for 2 years, then in NY for 6 months, now Aetna. No lapsed coverage and no Cobra. I think we are getting the top tier Aetna plan.
It just depends on what your employer is paying for. The best thing to do would be to call the HR dept and check it out with them. Just because you have ins through Aetna doesn't mean you will have infertility benefits. It based on what your employer wants you to have as far as benfits go. If your employer keeps your same benefits there should be no changes in your coverage.
