Not sure what type of doctor you are working with - we are working with a RE and he has us do the home ovulation tests and when we get a positive or on the date he sets, whichever comes first, he has us come in to do an ultrasound to look at the ovaries to confirm ovulation
Your fertile time can vary month to month, especially if your cycles change length. Usually, if you count back from 1st day of af for 12-14 days, that is the area you o'd in. The OPK isn't positive until the lines are equally dark or the test line is darker than the control line. Depending on which method you are using for tracking can make differences. Fertility friend rarely has my fertile time projected right. It is due to constantly changing cycle lengths.
Hi...
I dont whole lot about this tracking stuff as in my younger days, never had to do it..lol now is a different story =)
I just seen my RE yesterday he says to bd the 12, 14, 16, 18th of your cycle days! to cover your basis.. he also gave me femara. I know alot of women here have used clomid! they both get your cycle regular and ovulate better so he says! He also said that the assure opk is the best one ...little expensive but he says it works, if you use that one he says to bd day of the blue line and day after!. Your are supposed to 0 ...12-48 hours after the peak! Try the everyother day bd thing I would maybe start on day 10 then 12, 14, 16, 18. Cant hurt!!! I hope all this helps you.. its all little confusing to me =) Good luck to you hope you get a bfp soon!
