Thyroidism: low t3 levels in 3rd trimester. Help!

Am taking Synthroid for thyroidsim; have had rai surgery so no thyroid at all. t4s too high, ft4 midrange but t3 out of low range at 18 (22-35.) TSH is up to 1.65. I figure endo will raise tsh but not give t3 meds. Are the levels dangerous? I'm sure they will go up a bit with the synthroid raised to 150 (which I assume he will be doing) but not much.

Our Drs are contradicting everything I'm reading here. I'm going to have to find a better dr.

Wow - this is way out of my league.  Your doctor can answer your questions about whether these levels are dangerous or not.  Are you also seeing an endocrinologist or an RE.  I do know that it is very important to have stable levels of all the thyroid hormones - so I hope that you are getting good medical care.  Please feel very free to call your doctor often with any questions about it (that is why they make the big bucks).  Good luck to you!
