Hello I'm 37 yrs old and I just had my TR don e on May 21st .. I'm not gonna lie it was painful whoo. I swear my c-section was way better to handle not sure what they play with in there but dam. My Dr. told me that I would feel better in a week but what ever I stayed off work for 14 days and I'm still recovering. So if you work set it up now about time off cause it was unexpected for me. Thank god I own my business. So I didn't have to answer to anyone . I felt like I was in the dark about recovery time as we all have lives after surgery. I got a bladder infection, incision infection I'm still fighting he wouldn't admit to , Finally when I could hardly walk  in his office last Friday And my incision still draining after 3 wks He finally gives me 500mgs cipro for fives days. I'm like finally! And yesterday I get home after a goods work get ready to get in shower On the right side of my incision 1 1/2 of the actual suture he used is now hanging out. I was like how the hell, that wasn't even the side that was infected. My husband is livid you 6000 cash to a Reputable Dr and I mean A great Dr by all means. ( I think) lol. I'm worried all this infection drama will mess up my chances to get pregnant fast. My DR made a comment on Friday ( Ive never seen this before!  I was shocked cause he has been doing this for 23 yrs Then says maybe your allergic to the sutures I've had two c-sections with no problems with sutures. My sutures are coming up to the incision line In one long piece and not still tied on the end) We all heal different as I know. But I never thought someone could be allergic to the dissolvable  sutures. So has any one else had problems.

Thanks for the feedback. I had a tubal ligation in 2000 and will have the reversal in August because DH and I are ready for precious little healthy babies.

In preparation of the surgery,  I am attempting to track my ovulation so that I have a handle on knowing when I am most fertile. Hopefully, DH and I will not experience any issues conceiving but I wanted to make sure that a previous tubal would not skew the tracking results of ovulation. I must admit that it looks easier than it is, did not realize the difficulty of accurately tracking ovulation.

Again, thank you ladies.

yes it does.... tubal has nothing to do with ovulation...it jusr keeps the egg from entering the tube.

I can't say I know 100% for sure, but I believe it still does.  I think the whole point of tubal ligation is that the sperm can't reach the egg, or the other way around.  I don't think it impacts your ovaries or your ability to still ovulate. Hope that helps.
