Updated Medhelp Babies List!!

Hi Ladies...

Sorry I haven't been around, but I've been out of town for a little while! We just found out my FIL has cancer :( He is having surgery to remove one mass and one of his kidneys as we speak(or type)! Please say a prayer for him if you would!!

Happy Father's Day to all the New Fathers out there!! I sure hope all those babies are growing and the new Mommies and Daddies are enjoying them and getting plenty of rest also!! I know how hard it is.. DH finally went back to work after taking 5 weeks off to help me with the baby and DS is out of school now and went to his dad's for a couple weeks, so I know how rough it can be trying to fit every thing into one day!! It's so hard doing everything by ourselves!! DH told me to leave everything for him to do on thw weekends when he comes home but I just can't do that! He is working his fanny off so I don't have to! I am going to do what I can!!

Brayden is growing like a weed!! I can NOT believe he will be 6 weeks Thursday!! Time flies when you are so busy! I'm telling you in a very short time we will all be crying to eachother talking about how they grew up before we ever knew it! Is it just Brayden or is every baby about 3 weeks rolling from side to side and holding their heads up? It's so amazing! I am totally in love with this little guy! The lack of sleep and stack of dirty clothes is well worth every minute! He really is a good sleeper... I just try to get some house cleaning in when he sleeps at night so that's why there is a lack of sleep on my part....hehehe BUT.. Speaking of clothes.. He has totally outgrown his newborn clothes already! I'm not sure how much he weighs now (he has an appointment Thursday) but he is just getting so chunky! I had to go out and buy him all new clothes.. thought I would just get a few 0-3 months and get more 3-6 months! That was a smart decision on my part.. the 0-3 is tight on him! UGH... thought we were supposed to have SMALL babies?? I tell him all the time he has to quit growing because I want a baby a little bit longer! hehe!!

I sure hope you all are enjoying your little ones as much as I am him!! I will try to get some pics up soon but DH forgot the camera at the other house so I can't put the pics on my computer yet!!

My C-section has been scheduled for October 12th. (I am currently listed under my 40-week due date: October 30.)

Hi Patty,
Sorry to hear about your FIL--hope he heals fast and they found it early.  

I delivered Trevor Anthony Rebman on 6/9/08.  He weighed a stout 9lbs. 5ozs. and is a very long 22 inches.  It was a rough labor and delivery, but all ended well.

Thanks Ladies for all the prayers for my FIL... he had his surgery Monday like I mentioned and he is doing great! They are releasing him from the hospital tomorrow and we are driving back up there Saturday morning to visit!

I am very sorry to hear about your FIL, I will add him in my prayers.  

Brayden is soooo cute!!  i cant believe he is already almost 6 weeks old!!  if seem like just yesterday we were trying to figure out where you were and if you had gone into labor yet!!

So sorry, Patty to hear about your FIL.  That hits home because the man we chose to be Noah's god-father was diagnosed w/cancer a year ago w/good prognosis but today my dh told me he's terminal & already on hospice.  I will be praying for you and your family.

Your baby's beautiful!!!  It sounds like Brayden's doing great and mommy's doing well also. It's great that your dh took 5 weeks off - my dh took almost 7 (he had several vacation weeks coming - or that's what we tell ourselves - ha, ha!).  I thought it was weird that Noah was out of newborn clothes a few weeks ago but after reading your post, I see that it's completely normal.  I can't believe Brayden's already 6 weeks!!  I know Noah's only a tiny bit older than him but still.................we'll always be saying where does time go?? - jen
