I am 8 dpo and I am a POAS freak but because I was having lots of light headed episodes and the constant watery discharge on underwear ( which i never have usually unless I am about to ovulate and tugging and pulling, feeling rather heavy full in the abdomen and the twinges in the breasts...so i figured i'd test. I used the same urine on two of the tests and both came back with VERY faint lines but they were there and then later in the day I took another test but this time the lines were just a bit more visible. Today I also saw white, creamy, lotion type thick discharge for the first time since real early in my cycle.
Can a faint line on the HCG test strip point to pregnancy or no?
Pregnancy tests only show 1 thing. Positive or negative! So, if you had a second line, you are most likely pregnant. It's just very early, so the line can be quite faint. Check out some of my pics, and there are some really faint ones, got progressively darker. It is quite rare for a second line to be a negative. I would go so far as to say congratulations!!!!!!! Amanda
8 days is early but as amanda says, a positive is a positive. the only other thing was would cause it would be if your doc gave you any HCG shots to trigger your ovaries to release. good luck and hope the lines get darker.
