Zika virus

Has anyone's doctors mentioned the Zika virus to them? I have a trip to Florida planned in two weeks. I didn't think twice about going yet my doctor is strongly discouraging its patients from traveling anywhere in Florida. I'm torn on what to do. CDC and Florida's Heath department says there are no known cases... just curious what other drs are saying.

I love in Florida as well and my Doctor hasn't brought up any concern except for to avoid the lower half of Florida like Miami and Key West. Unless you were planning on hitting up the marsh or swamp areas of Florida, you should be okay, but if your Doctor insist on you not traveling here, go with the recommendation of your Doctor. Good Luck!

I live in Florida and haven't heard anything. Every Dr visit I'm asked if I traveled anywhere where Zika is known. I will ask my OB at my next visit about Zika being here.
