thanks for all the responses..It does help hear your stories..gives hope and eases the pain.
They helped my hubby as well, put his mind at ease..Although the story of the woman and the 3 babies and one on her stomach disturbed him.. LOL That was a funny conversation to have with him.
Again thanks for the kind words ladies, I'm feeling way better then I did last week. Just takes time.
I got pregnant naturally at 38 with only one tube and ovary. Just rest, feel better, heal, and then start trying again.
I suffered an ectopic that left my right tube completely blocked and after 3 years of trying, we finally got pregnant naturally... I just had my baby 3 weeks ago! You can do it, be patient and just don't focus on that too much... keep doing what people do when they want to get pregnant, no more no less, and it will happen for you!
I'm so sorry to hear that. I know 3 woman that only have one tube and were still able to get pregnant. Don't give-up hope!

Oh and Ita17 they figured I was about 9 weeks and I had no pain that's what was scary. they kept checking my HCG and ultrasounds after an episode of bleeding 4 weeks earlier, they thought at first I had an imcomplete MC, then Wednesday past they found the little guy in my right tube.
Thanks for all your posts ladies, it really is encouraging to hear your stories..I'm feeling a bit better about it as time goes by..and My hubby keeps encouraging me too. He's being great. My mom and his mom are here all the time helping me and talking to me, so I'm very lucky to have their support as well.
thanks again.
A very good friend whose user name is TankerChick has had an ectopic pregnancy and lost one of her tubes as well. She now is pregnant w/her 2nd child - she got pregnant via IUI.
Once the soreness wears off, your attitude/perspective/spirits will pick up. Give it time - I'm so sorry for all of this - I'm sure though your chances of getting a BFP are still excellent. Hannah (TankerChick) explained how the body ovulates on different sides at different times. She's full of useful information so feel free to pm her to talk about your experience.
Best of luck!! - jen
I'm sorry about your etopic & tube :( I had my left tube & ovary removed due to a cyst & endo back in Nov. Got pregnant the very next month, although I mc'd that one @ 11 weeks, the thing is I got pregnant fast. I am in my 2nd cycle of injectables really only because I just turned 40 & time is ticking!
I bet you'll be just fine :) You need to recover by resting & you'll be feeling normal soon!
How far along were you when you found out your pregnancy was etopic?
I saw a show a few months back & maybe a few of you've seen it too. But it was a women in the UK who was pregnant w/3 babies, & didn't know it, thought it was twins. Bled A LOT early on & had A LOT of pain thought one twin mc'd, & no she hadn't. Then by another tech, a few days later discovered during an US that what had happened was a baby implanted in her tube, the tube ruptured & the baby boy latched onto her stomach wall I think! CRAZY CRAZY! Long story short, she delivered via C section very early, & it was a very dangerous operation for her & the baby boy, but mostly for her. In the end everything went great! So nuts!
I bet some of you ladies have seen this show before too.
I just had the same thing happen to me on July 14th. I'm sorry you did not catch it in time and had to have the tube removed. I was sore for a week and a half but feel much better now. My RE does not seem too concerned about my tube. We met last week and will try again as we did with my dd for a few months or so. If nothing happens by then it may be off to IVF but I hope not.
I have both tubes but my right tube is closed due to scar tissue and my left tube is very short, and I am 35 weeks pregnant with my baby boy, hope you feel better soon!
It's not easy to look on the bright side but I'm glad you are okay and my friend had one tube and got pregnant like 2 months after her surgery to remove the other. Just get better first.
I'm so very sorry to hear this. I'm sure there are women on this list who have had a similar experience and will be able to give you advice and hope. I wish you all the best.
