bleeding

I would like to know some experiences with implantation bleeding. It has only been 5 days since ovulation for me but I had some bleeding last night when I went to the restroom. It was kinda heavy for mid cycle bleeding, and it was very red! I didn't bleed overnight but had some again when I went to the restroom this morning. Now it is just the brown stuff so I think I've stopped bleeding. I also had some cramps. I'm 40 and have been trying for 5 months. I'm not scheduled to start my period until the 23rd. I hope I'm not making ups prenancy symptoms! Anyone else have definate implantation bleeding?

I don't think I'm pregnant now. I'm still bleeding (about 48 hours) and it's not just spotting. No clotting but pretty red and I have to wear a mini. It's weird. I just don't feel right. I may have to call the doc to make sure everything is ok. Thanks for the comments.

When I got preg the third time (Due 1/28/10) for the first time I had bleeding during intercourse with my DH. I thought for sure that I was starting my cycle early I just felt that period feeling.....low and behold I was preg.......  if you do not start your cycle by the 23rd...I would take a home test.  You can get false negatives, but now a days it is rare to get a false positive. You can make up symptoms of feeling preg like the sore breast which are common with some cycles, but I do not think your body would "fake" bleed!  Good luck I hope you are preg!

Well for me- mine only was one time when I wiped- kinda brown/red. That is usually the way it is for me. But- I think you can have it for a few days right around the missed pd. time
