can i be pregnant

im on the birthcontrol pill and i missed three times but i made them up like 12 hrs late.  I missed the first one, the second one i took it the night before so which made me miss the next day, then i missed another one i, then had breakthrough bleeding. me and my bf had unprotected sex. then i missed my period.  i missed these pills, one i the first and the rest were like in the third. can i be pregnant and when should i take a test.

I am on yasmine. I missed the first 2 pills in week 1 of my pill pack and then the 5th pill as well. For some reason I didn't give it much thought and my bf and I had unprotected sex. I am worried that I could/did ovulate. How likely is it? Should I be really concerned?

It's unlikely, but certainly possible.  Best thing to do is use a back up method of birth control if you miss your pills.  I agree with Yvette, take a test when you miss your period.  From your post it sounds like you may have missed one already?  If that is the case you can take one now.

You risk getting pregnant anytime you don't take your birth control pills properly.   Can't say for sure if you are or not, but maybe.    I would test the day that you expect your period and maybe a week later.
