cervix checked
I find getting my cervix checked is extremely uncomfortable and feels like she is trying to fist me! so I have had my cervix checked once. Lolother than that of she doesn't have to I'd rather her keep her hands to herself lol! how do you all feel about getting checked?
Yeah I hate being checked too. Not just bc its uncomfortable but also bc I'm really shy and it just kinda embarrasses me lol
I encourage you to talk to your doctor about this - there is no hard and fast reason why she has to check your cervix. It lets her and you know if you have started to dialate and efface, but even this does not accurately predict when labor will start. So she may be fine with skipping it, if you want. The famous midwives (Ina May and her group from "the farm") never do cervical checks.
Its uncomfortable and painful but soooooo much worse when they check it whilst your in labour, I literally screamed!
